So here's what is done to attract nearly 1,000 people to the Awaken Fair each fall and spring in Tarrytown:

- 10,000 postcards are distributed.
- Our AwakenFair.com web site receives thousands of hits before the event.
- Regular emails to our list of 10,000 email addresses featuring various exhibitors who will be at the fair. In total nearly a quarter of a million emails are sent out by me.
- Facebook presence.
- YouTube presence.
- Twitter regular "tweets."
- "Bring A Friend For FREE" promotion.
- Banner outside the hotel and downtown Tarrytown.
- Double page ad in Natural Awakenings Westchester/Putnam magazine the month of the event; full page ad in the NYC, Fairfield and Rockland editions.
- Full page ad the months before the event.
- Half page ad two months before the event.
- "Mark Your Calendar" box three months before the event.
- Full page ad in Inner Realm magazine (northern NJ/Rockland & NYC).
- Journal News ads the weeks before the event.
- Posting for six months on over 50 online web sites.
- Posters throughout the area.
In addition, all exhibitors associated with the event produce their own email blasts, and posting on their web sites...
